Design Professionals Coalition

Our Mission

The Design Professionals Coalition is a highly focused and effective organization of senior executives of leading companies, and constitutes a major portion of the Design/Engineering industry.  These industry leaders embrace a philosophy of timely and effective actions to promote and protect the interests of our industry, our individual companies, and the public good.  Their activities and initiatives are designed to

  1. Educate, empower, and mobilize our members, proactively and defensively as appropriate, to influence federal legislative, regulatory, and political outcomes;
  1. Provide a forum for sharing and promoting leading-edge business practices and networking; and
  1. Influence the agendas and priorities of major professional, trade and construction-related organizations.
Recent Accomplishments
  • Prepared white paper on FHWA OIG audit
  • Joined Government Withholding Relief Coalition to fight the 3% withholding tax on government contractors
  • Co-sponsored Amicus Brief on Nevada Supreme Court economic loss doctrine
  • Co-hosted several events for key Congressional Leaders
  • Launched political advocacy web-site
  • Prepared strategic plan for future of DPC
